Earth day activity

This is such an easy activity to put together and a great way to discuss the three important elements of life air,water and land.

As we did this activity we spoke about how important water is to us. The human body can survive without food but not without water.

Materials required:

Beige/Brown A4 paper

Paint brush

Green poster colour

Blue poster colour

Scissor

Pencil

Eraser

Paper plate

Step 1

Draw a rough outline of earth. Ask your child to paint in green and blue.

Step 2

You can use this opportunity to talk about importance of taking care of water and plants

Step 3

Draw the outline of your child’s handprint and cut. Fold around fingers and wrist for an additional effect.

Assemble the together and your done.
